Since my last email, we’ve had our Discover Pilates workshop; a popular 2-hour session where beginners to Pilates can come and try out the technique in a pressure free environment.

We’ve also had Black Friday and this week has been all about Christmas!

As a November baby I try not to think about the C word until after my birthday, however this year I feel its crept up very quickly and I feel very unprepared 😬. Am I the only one that thinks December has come early this year??

Exercise of the Fortnight - Relaxation

Each fortnight we give you an exercise to do at home. This week its not an exercise as such but still a very valuable part of each of our classes here at The Pilates Corner…..

Relaxation is something we all should find time to bring into our daily lives. This short (5 minute) guided relaxation is something that we end all of our Pilates classes with and for some of our members it’s their favourite part!

This 3-hour workshop with Fiona Gehring from Mid Point 4 Women is for anybody affected by The Menopause.

Every woman goes through this stage of hormonal change at some point in their life and it can massively effect your home, work and personal life.

Class Focus: Mixed Level Pilates

Today we’re focusing on our Mixed Level Pilates Classes.

This is our most popular class on the timetable, with 13 occurrences a week. No matter what your level of experience or ability these classes will work for you.

With every exercise starting at a beginner level, we layer the exercise to become more challenging so that those who want to can make the exercise harder.

Theres’s never any pressure to move up the levels and we keep a close eye on what everyone is doing to make sure you’re doing the correct level for your body.

These classes are perfect if you are happy to explore your capabilities with different levels, but also great if you want a low level work out.

They run on;

  • 9:30am on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays,

  • 10:45am on Mondays & Sundays.

  • 12:30pm on Wednesdays.

  • 6:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.

  • 7:15pm on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
